Medical Leader to Receive UVA’s Distinguished Alumna Award

Dr. Barbara Bass, a 1979 graduate of the UVA School of Medicine, is the first woman to serve as vice president for health affairs and dean of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
