How effective is PICO LASER?
Regarded as one of the most advanced laser treatments currently available on the market. The Pico Laser is able to precisely target the treatment area and its non-intrusive nature is considered to be safer than the traditional nanosecond laser such as Q-switch.
Not only is pico laser treatments effective at treating skin pigmentations and tattoo removal, it is also effective at stimulating skin repair and skin brightening through collagen production.
What can I expect from PICO LASER?
In most cases, patients can experience instantaneous brightening right after treatment. Some may experience slight redness and swelling but don’t worry as the recovery process only takes up to a few hours.
As for the procedure itself, it is generally painless, however this is subjected to the individual’s pain tolerance. Numbing cream will be provided to alleviate any minor discomfort.
As each patient is unique depending on their evaluation and skin condition. We generally recommend 3-5 sessions at a monthly interval to retain their desired results, however we have seen some patients who have already experienced improvements as early as 1-2 weeks after treatment.

What happens if the effects of Pico laser wear off?
The results for pigmentation removal are permanent and will not return, especially for tattoos. However new pigmentations can still develop due to sun exposure, natural ageing and hormonal changes. We recommend patients to schedule a maintenance session to retain your desired look.
Can I apply makeup immediately after Pico Laser treatment?
We would advise patients to wait a few days for the skin to heal before applying any makeup. Your skin is at its most vulnerable and sensitive after treatment and the application of makeup may lead to skin irritation and blockage of pores.
What should I do before/after Pico Laser treatment?
To reduce risk of complications, we strongly advise patients to remove all makeup, creams or oils before coming in for treatment. Patients can still continue with their daily activities post treatment but try to:
– Avoid rubbing or scratching the skin.
– Avoid direct sun exposure for prolonged periods of time.
– Regularly washing the face with tepid water and moisturising the skin
