What is a BBL Laser Treatment? | Rêvée Aesthetics | It’s not actually a Laser at all

What is a BBL laser Treatment? Well, technically it’s not a laser at all, but a light therapy, an IPL.

What is the difference between Lasers and IPL/BBL?
Laser is a single wavelength of light, while IPL/BBL is a spectrum, usually ranging between about 400-1100.

The BBL, Broad Band Light, treatment is sometimes referred to as a photo facial. It can be use on many parts of the body, but most often the face to target hemoglobin and pigment.

The BBL Treats:
Reds: (Rosacea, telangiectasia, flushing, cherry angiomas)
Browns: (Sun damage, brown spots)

Does not treat:
Darker skin tones (Fitz IV-VI)
Melasma
Tanned skin (2 weeks of no active sun)
