Laser Treatment of Birthmarks
Birthmarks with a brown, black, or blue color respond well to our pigment laser. In this instance, we’re treating a birthmark with a deep blue color, which denotes that the melanocytes (the pigment-producing cells) are located deep within the dermis. This is akin to a Nevus of Ota, which is commonly found on the face and neck. This birthmark will respond very well to our pigment lasers and are expected to be gone within 2-4 sessions of our laser treatment.
