Dr. George P. Manolakis. Collaborating Physician Cambridge Breast Clinic at Mediterraneo

George Manolakis was born in Greece in 1958, and graduated from the German High School (Deutsche Schule) of Thessaloniki in 1976. He subsequently studied Medicine in Germany and obtained his Medical Degree (Staatsexamen) from the University of Heidelberg, and his Doctorate Degree (Dr.med) from the University of Tuebingen in 1983. Postgraduate studies in Clinical Oncology followed at various University Hospitals in South Africa (Baragwanath, Johannesburg and Hillbrow, Ga-Rankuwa Hospitals).
In 1994 he is awarded a PhD –degree in Internal Medicine/Oncology by the Medical University of SA – MEDUNSA-) and becomes a Vis. Professor of Clinical Oncology.
From 1995 to 2001 he serves as Ass. Professor of Clinical Oncology and Head of Dept. at the Democritus Univ. of Thrace in Greece. Ever since he has been working in private Hospitals in Athens as a senior Oncology Consultant (Medical Centre P.Faliron and Mediterraneo Hospital Glyfada).
