Dr Fotis Constandinidis. Radiologist Cambridge Breast Clinic at Mitera

Dr. Fotis Constantinidis  qualified from Pecs Medical University, in Hungary in 1999.

In 2008 he became Fellow Radiologist of the Hellenic Radiological Society after having successfully completed six years of training as Resident in Sismanoglio General Hospital, Athens, Greece and in P.& A. Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, Athens, Greece. During his training in Sismanoglio General Hospital, Athens, Greece, he spent 14 months in the hospital’s Breast Imaging Unit.

In 2005 he successfully completed a 2-year Interventional Radiology Postgraduate Degree in the the Athens Medical University. His thesis was titled “The use of Covered Stents in Critical Vascular Stenosis”.

In 2008 he spent 3 months in the Breast Imaging Department of the AKH-Medical University Hospital of Vienna, Vienna, Austria as visiting fellow of the 2007 European School of Radiology (ESOR) Visiting Scholarships in Breast Imaging, promoted by the European Society of Radiology (ESR), where he perfected his skills in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and imaging-guided breast biopsies. 

He’s been working as a Consultant Radiologist in the Breast Imaging Department at MITERA General, Maternity and Children’s Hospital, Athens, Greece, since July 2009.

He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI) and the Hellenic Radiological Society.

He has numerous publications in peer reviewed medical journals and abstract presentations in International and National scientific congresses.He is a fluent speaker of English, German and Hungarian, and was a member of the Greek National Rugby Team.
