Mr Vassilis Pitsinis Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon Cambridge Breast Clinic at Mitera

Dr Pitsinis qualified from the medical school of Semelweis University in 1999 and completed his PhD thesis at the University of Athens in 2004. He has served as an anatomy demonstrator in the University of Cambridge in 2001-2002 and a clinical tutor in the nursing school of the University of Essex in 2003-2006.

His surgical training took place in East Aglia and London more specifically in Colchester,Cambridge and the Royal Marsden Hospital as well as in the University Hospital in Strasbourg, France and in Athens University Medical School at Aretaion Hospital.

He worked towards the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and also aquired a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from Louis Pasteur University in 2006 in Strasbourg. Dr Pitsinis served as a fellow in breast oncoplastic surgery in the breast units of Cambridge University Hospitals since 2009. In 2010 he also became a clinical supervisor in the Clinical School of the University of Cambridge.
